My oh my, here comes news from organic makeup brand Nvey Eco. A deep red lipstick for real Marilyn Monroe glam. I'm a sucker for red lips and have to get hold on one of this!

Inspiring body art
Whenever I'm bored I like to search for body paint and airbrush makeup on We heart it, Instagram etc. I try to have a lot of inspiring photos on my phone and my computer cause you know when you're gonna need 'em!

Congratulations to my little ones
Two of my favorites are now a year older, and ones again I missed their birthdays! I keep telling myself that next year will be better, cause I miss these two sooo much!
Todays shoot and a picture from last summer
I did a photoshoot earlier today, great photagrapher and model and some edgy, androgyn, almost Helmut Newton style. It just makes me so happy and appreciative to be able to do what I love. Although I realized that I have to go through my kit before tomorrows shoot, there was some stuff missing today which makes working a little bit harder.
Another fun thing today was this picture that I got in my mail. It's from a shoot I did last summer with some amazing people, we really had a blast and we got great photos.

Yesterdays Lobster Party
In Sweden we have a wierd tradition called a Lobster Party. Basically an excuse to hang out, eat lobsters and drink alcohol. A great evening with a lot of fun, crazy people!

European Body Art
Wohoo, happy girl!
I just ordered a lot of airbrush paint from Amazon. Since I haven't tried many different brands I asked for some advice on this an got recommended to try European Body Art. Said and done, now is ten bottles of European Body Arts Vibe collection in different colors on it's way to me, sooo excited!

Nätet dog!
Enda nackdelen med att bo ute i skärgården är att internetet ibland inte funkar. vissa gånger skönt att vara lite okontaktbar, andra gånger ett pain in the ass ifall man behöver jobba. Tur jag kommer åt 3G nätet på mobilen iaf!
Idag när det är så fint väder har jag ingen större lust att täcka ansiktet med smink. Istället använder jag en av mina nya favoriter, nämligen denna dagkräm ifrån Estée Lauder som innehåller solskyddsfaktor 15 och ett lätt pigment som jämnar ut hudtonen. Samt att den doftar underbart fräscht, lite som gurka!
No wifi today, one of the downsides about living here. Luckily I can still use my phone!
Today when the weather is so nice and sunny I'm trying to not cover my face with makeup. Instead I'm using this new favorite of mine, it's a day cream from Estée Lauder with SPF 15 and a light pigment that evens out the skin tone. And it smells fresh, like cucumber!
Summer mornings
Good morning loves!
Beautiful weather here in Sweden today, just lovely. I started the day with some kayaking (for the very first time) and even some swimming, freezing cold water!
Days like this I can hardly believe how good life is, I'm kinda living the dream right now!

Gettin' back on track
I took a week off to spend tome with my loved ones and celebrate my birthday a little. Had agreat time with friends and it is so nice to be back in Stockholm. Yikes, I've really missed it here, just being able to walk everywhere instead of having to take the bus or the fact that I'm sorrunded by my favourite people in the best city on the planet.
I'm gonna try to get back on track now and not get to lazy, although I kinda have over a month vacation left before I go back to the U.S. But I'm already booking some jobs and figuring out some stuff I wanna do during the summer, trying to get the perfect mix of work and free time!
This week though, is going to be all play and fun. Nothing going on during the week besides hanging out with family and helping out here in the house. It's such a beautiful place, takes my breathe away every day. And then we have a litte party planned on saturday, wiee gonna be so much fun!
Home sweet home
There's truly something special about home. Especially when you're spending the summer out by the sea.
I landed in Stockholm late last night and now I'm enjoying some quality time with the boyfriend and his family. It's so beautiful here, just look at the view from or window. And we've got little chickens to play with, cutest ever!
Farewell
So the day has come when it's time for me to leave LA and go back to Sweden. It has been an amazing journey and I'm so grateful for the opportunity to come here. I've had five great months and it has truly been an adventure. I've meet some awesome people and artists and I've made friends for life. Now I'm only excited about going home and see my loved ones, knowing that I won't have to miss LA for that long!
As time goes by
I've had two wonderful weeks interning at CMS after my graduation and it really made me appreciate all the things I've learned here. It is truly magical to see all these talented artists work and inspire new artists every day and its sometimes hard to believe that you've actually been a part of it. And as my trip back home has gotten closer and closer I've been both happy and excited but also very sad about leaving LA. Although now I'm only excited since I won't have to miss LA for that long.
So besides interning and helping out at CMS I've also tried to get some kind of structure in my life with packing and preparing for the flight back home and then I've done some other fun things. Got the opportunity to be involved in Mike Spatola's sequel to "The Monstrous Makeup Manual" yesterday and tomorrow I somehow agreed to take place in front of the camera as a favor to CMS.
Yeah, life is kind of crazy right now. A lot if things going on and I'm so excited about everything!
I should really start packing
So, less than a week until I'm boarding the airplane to go over seas. And of course I haven't started packing yet. Instead I keep buying more stuff that I somehow have to fit in my luggage, haha! Today's best buy was an airbrush kit from Paasche, a little graduation/early birthday gift to myself. So now I just have to get a compressor and some paint when I'm back in Sweden and then I'm ready to go!
It's like Christmas Day!
Just packed up my new makeup case from Monda and it's amazing how much stuff I can fit in it. Also great to be able to take it apart and only use the big or the smaller bag or, as I'm going to do when I fly home, check in the big bag and take the small one with all fragile stuff as carry on. It is a little bit heavy when it's full but not to bad for a makeup kit and I'm very happy with it!
It's official
I got my certificate and I'm now officially a CMS graduate. Of course this has to be celebrated somehow so today I went straight from CMS where I'm interning right now up to North Hollywood and Nigel's Beauty Emporium. Met up with some friends, got some stuff that I ordered from Mac and also picked up this BIG package. I'm super excited!!
